Orby Engineering were delighted to be part of the 2018 Tullamore Show & FBD National Livestock Show, held on Sunday, August 12 in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
Despite a thick blanket of dark cloud and several fleeting showers in the early part of the day, thousands travelled from near and far to attend this great event; one of the largest one-day events in the agri show calendar.
Covering an approximate 260ac, Tullamore’s impressive showground at Butterfield Estate was used to host a great range of demonstrations; livestock competitions; machinery displays; trade stands; arts and crafts; fashion tents; live music and catering areas.
Realising the scale of the event, we felt it was important that our demonstration van stood out, and after a little contemplation and a makeover, that it did. Daisy, (our cow-print demo van), made her maiden voyage in style, attracting many passers by on the day and was incredibly useful for demonstrating and communicating the ease-of-use, efficiency, accuracy and reliability that has long been associated with the Orby brand.

We relished the opportunity to talk to farmers who were interested in installing our feeding systems and also took delight in speaking to mature farmers who have enjoyed years of trouble-free feeding thanks to Orby Engineering.
In short, Tullamore Show 2018 was certainly a success and we look forward to exhibiting here again next year.
